Al-Nassr’s historic victory over Al-Ahli is fueled by Ronaldo magic.

Riyadh: Right now, not much can be said about Cristiano Ronaldo other than the fact that he scored two more goals on Friday to help Al-Nassr defeat Al-Ahli in a thrilling 4-3 contest.

Even though it became a little tense near the finish, this victory gave Riyadh Club its most significant result of the year. Al-Nassr has won its previous five games after suffering its first two losses, and it is currently in fifth place, just three points behind Al-Ittihad, who are in first ArabNewsSport.

Al-Nassr is on fire with nine goals in seven league games and Ronaldo scoring for entertainment. The backline of Al-Ahli may become uneasy due to their aggressive talent, which appears to find the net practically every time they cross the halfway point .

Saadiyo Mane, a former colleague of Roberto Firmino during his time at Liverpool, hesitated to play Ronaldo right outside the box with only four minutes remaining in the game. Although Ronaldo’s finish was flawless, keeper Eduard Mendi may be able to lay the blame on the green cloud that covered the entire pitch. The 38-year-old player, who has scored over 850 goals in his career, scored.

The Al-Nassr home crowd went into a frenzy after the Portuguese international unleashed a tremendous strike against them a little while later.

Anderson Talisca scored the second goal 16 minutes later. Right-handed free-kick was given by Anaymeric Laporte, and the Brazilian midfielder made a long gesture to direct the ball into the far post.

With the victory, Al-Ahli moved into second position and brought their points total with Al-Ittihad to par. Al-Ahli had set their sights on their own title quest. They demonstrated their ability in less than 30 minutes.

Frank Kessie seized the chance to rush towards the goal and occupy a position near the far post after Mohammed Al-Majad delivered a pinpoint pass at the top of the box.

Both teams kept up the pressure, but just as the visitors were getting ready to trail by one goal at halftime, Talisca’s absence was approved.

The attacker with the golden hair was hiding at the far post when Marcelo Brozovic’s cross-field pass from the left corner of the area reached him. The attacker then unleashed an unstoppable shot into the goal, giving Mendi no chance.

There was plenty of action in the second half as Riyadh Mahariz, who had already scored two excellent goals, once again cut the margin.

The goal made it a tight finale, but Al-Nassr managed to prevail.

Al-Nassr looked quite threatening, and Ronaldo once again proved his value in this intriguing game that featured some impactful forward play.
